Jul. 1 2022 Lifestyle By Sun & Fun RVs

Here in Iowa, we’re blessed with gorgeous landscapes, bountiful lakes and rivers, and a multitude of campgrounds to choose from. The team at Sun & Fun RVs wants to share three favorite spots for three types of campers. If you have any questions about local camping options, please talk to us at our dealership in Tiffin, Iowa, serving Iowa City and Davenport.

For Anglers: Pulpit Rock Campground

Pulpit Rock Campground is located in the northeast part of Iowa near the town of Decorah. It’s known for some of the best fishing in northeast Iowa, along with lots of options for walking and biking. You’ll find over 80 back-in spaces, more than 30 tent spaces, and also pull-thru sites with electric hookups. Shower facilities and Wi-Fi ensure you’re clean, comfortable, and connected!

For Kids: Adventureland Campground

Camping a five-minute walk from an amusement park and water park is a dream come true for most kids! Find Adventureland Campground near Altoona and Des Moines. There’s also a playground, a swimming pool, and a dog run. It’s close to Prairie Meadows and Terrace Hills Golf Course.

For Self-Care: Harvest Farm Camping Resort

If you’re tired of roughing it, pull into one of the 80 campsites at Harvest Farm Camping Resort and book a service or two at the beauty salon. Enjoy tanning beds, nail services, and hair services near the northeast town of Cresco. Three Amish-built cabins are also available.

With 83 state parks and recreation areas covering 53,000 acres of land, there are plenty more camping options to choose from in Iowa. Here at Sun & Fun RVs, we are dedicated to making sure you get the most out of your RV. We’re in Tiffin, Iowa, where we serve Iowa City and Davenport.
